Stress related to the everyday challenges of life
Mental health concerns including anxiety and depression
Grief, loss, life transitions and change
Relationship challenges
Trauma
Perinatal/postpartum and parenting concerns
I do not provide any of the following: evaluation services or documentation related to child custody, medical treatment/surgery, workers’ compensation, FMLA, disability or substance use; medication management, psychological testing services (this includes diagnosis of neurodevelopmental conditions such as autism and ADHD) or documentation related to emotional support animals.
My Approach
My goal is to provide a customized experience that is flexible, responsive and meaningful. Utilizing a variety of established and emerging therapy approaches allows me to tailor sessions to fit unique needs.
Billing & Payment
My practice is self-pay only. Maintaining a self-pay practice allows me to protect client privacy while offering an experience that is individualized and client-focused.
Session rates: $150/initial biopsychosocial assessment, $110/subsequent standard-length session (45-50 minutes)
I do not participate with insurance panels. All sessions are direct fee-for-service with full payment due at the time of session. All major credit cards are accepted.
Services are HSA/FSA eligible. HSA/FSA cards can be kept securely on file for billing purposes.
Missed appointments and late cancellations (notification of less than 24 hours) will be charged at the full session fee.
My office does not provide insurance billing. Upon request, receipts/statements will be provided to clients who wish to submit claims to their insurance carrier for possible reimbursement. Clients may want to consider using the Reimbursify app if submitting claims to insurance. Please note that claims may not be submitted to Medicare or Medicaid. Submitting a claim does not guarantee reimbursement.
Good Faith Estimate
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much counseling/psychotherapy services will cost.
Under federal law, providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency services.
You can ask any provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
